You can have anything you want.  Just bring it.  We have about 25-30 min stop for lunch max.

have had the rear d shaft balanced twice, and finally rebuilt. Not sure if I scraped it on a rock, but it was really out of balance, and you could see it shaking while up on a rack. While trying to find the issue found out that my teraflex rear upper trackbar on one side had a bad joint. Those were nice and greased properly, but the joint just crapped out on me. Had those replaced with poly track bars. My clunk is finally gone along with some rattles I could never track down. Headed out to the hunting lease last weekend and when I get to 75 the harmonic vibe is still there, just not as bad. Taking it in tomorrow to try and balance the tires and wheels, which havent been done since 2010. Hopefully that fixes it, but we will see. I am just really frustrated and not too optimistic at this point. I've spent $240 on the dshaft and 300 plus labor on the track bars so far and get shit daily from the wife on money put into this jeep, so going on a ride is not in my best interest to keep her happy. At least I didnt have to pay for the tailgate the car wash place screwed up. I got it back today and Abra did a great job fixing it, and even fixed some other small dents from my hilift. sorry for the rant {btt}

Josh,

My experience has been those harmonic vibes are not wheels and tires but driveline.

Let's home you didn't bend the ouput on the transfer case when you bent the driveshaft and its something else.

Is the rear opinion n ice and tight?

Disconnect the front driveshaft from the axle and strap it up.  Drive it.  You'll know right away if that has anything to do with it.  My front ds has been my issue 5 or 6 times..

Your Jeep only vibrates at 75 mph? Man mine feels like its going to fall apart above 70. No telling whats wrong with it or why but I just dont drive over 70 and its a nice drive. Last time I got bad shimmy around 45 mph my wheels/tires were so far out of balance and once 4WP re-did them it was pretty good.

74 and under it is fine, right at 75 is where it kicks in and gets worse with speed. I just want to know if it is a big issue, as I am afraid of wearing other crap out, if it is not then at least my mind with be at ease

Agree with Doug on the front shaft idea. I had similar issues and it was the front shaft. I was convinced it was the rear. I love my waggy front 44, no shft spin while driving  :smoke
I've grown tired of this.

Alright read through the whole thread, def others have kids are coming, I am not worried about the driving, just the kids in the car.  My CB radio is arriving tomorrow and I'll install it.

I've got
Avery 6
Brann 2+

Brann loves cars and jeeps - he spots another Jeep before we do everytime - so I really think he'll be excited but you guys need to just tell me this is not going to be doable with kids honestly.  If I have to leave out that will be possible right?  I've done lots of trail driving in Oconee forest in Jasper County and I'm fine making my way back on FS roads.

Anyone have a route map?  What are the creek/river crossings?   I want pics of my jeep in the river man!
