Wow Brian!  Those are great shots.  When are you going to make a lap at Tellico with us?

Nice job man!

I was just wondering cause the tube work looked similar and you ran Krawlers. I know the blue one didn't have rear steer.

That would be great!  We've got a nice small "mod" group, and a nice stock group.  9am at the bridge where the pavement ends, then up to the pay station.  Hope to see you there!

Brian, at that level, how much is vehicle, and how much is driver/spotter?

Can I ask, what it costs to buy a buggy like that?

Its more driver/spotter than vehicle. My spotter was Jeff Rowland. He spotted for Matt Deas the last two years. They took first in the east both years. So I bought the winning buggy and had the winning spotter and did not win in WE ROCK series. We won the 2008 Carolina Crawlin WE ROCK Southeast event. The buggy is so complicated to drive that I can't explain it. You can brake individual wheels or you can use the tractor brakes where you push a lever and then the brake and it will only brake one side of the buggy. With the three link on the rear if you leave the ARB locked in certain places the rear tire will go straight up in the air and turn you over. Then you've got the rear steer. It will get you in so much trouble. Theres a big learning curve.
Not to make excuses, but after I bought the buggy I wheeled it for about 3 hours. Every ring in the engine collapsed. We rebuilt the engine. I went to one event and it did the same thing again. We rebuilt the engine again. This time we put the engine back together stock. It still did'nt run right. I called Matt Deas. He said to put a stock junk yard engine back in it. I did. It's sitting in the garage now. It will run, but when it gets up to 190 degrees it starts skipping just like the other engine did. We have replaced everything on it several times. 7 different mechanics have looked at it. We have another computer coming today. Matt had just put this engine in the buggy prior to me buying it. You dont want to know what it cost. $$$$ But after all that it's still all I think about.
