You guys are missing my sarcasm. I'm not saying Obama's plan was good, I'm saying that his campaign about change was correct. We needed change. Just not what we have gotten. If you think the fiscal policy and monetary policy were fine before Obama took office, then you have not been paying much attention. We needed change even before he took office, we needed a monetary policy change years ago. Being in a deficit in the trillions is not the right policy.  And yet, even before he took office, we kept increasing our debt ceiling. During Clinton's administration, our govt shut down. Where was our monetary policy then. We needed change then too. Foreign aid given to countries that allied against the US. Even if we had a suspicion that they were assisting terrorists, we should have cut them off. Increasing welfare recipients, cause that has worked out so far.  Congress kept voting themselves raises when our govt was broke and yet they kept cutting income has salaries for our troops. I can continue but it's late. I'm not disagreeing with anyone. What we currently have in office is nothing less than really bad nightmare.  And the end does not seem to be in sight.
So new to this that I don't even know what to ask!!!!

^^ //iws//

I get what you're saying.

I'd take the Clinton years over the last two clowns...any day.  At the time, I thought it was shameful that Clinton messed around on Hillary...today I'd pay for his entertainment.

I was no fan of Clinton but if (big IF) I remember correctly the government was in the black his second term. Now our military and surveillance agencies took a huge hit to balance the budget ,but it was balanced. A lot of the history I've read about 911 and what led up to it and our lack of info to stop that action is contributed to this lack of physical assets on the ground in key areas due lack of funding. Huge price to pay, one I wouldn't want to pay again.

Gentleman we find ourselves in a huge cluster f*&^% and I don't think we have the people in office willing to do what needs to be done to correct it. They are quite happy with the current S.N.A.F.U.

I say impeach them all or fire them for lack of performance. I've had employees who were decent workers showed up on time most of the time, easy to get along with ,but when the real work came along and the company needed  them to perform at a higher level they couldn't be counted on and if I can't count on you I don't need you. Same with this bunch, our nation is and has been in a (need to perform) status for some time now and they are not getting the job done. Their job is to keep us out of the very situation they have lead us into, A nonworking government

Clinton understood that leaving the financial house is disarray was bad for America, so he was able to deal with a conservative congress.  Compared to the last two presidents, Clinton was more fiscally conservative.  His fiscal intelligence trumped his bleeding heart liberalism.  His main problem was being a sex addict and a liar.

In hind sight (yep I voted for the first clown...twice) I'd replace the last two presidents with Clinton.

Oh well, 4 more years until we get another liberal in the White House...and probably one that doesn't understand the long term importance of national debt elimination.

What a bunch of lying dirt-bags....

http://investigations.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/10/28/21213547-obama-admin-knew-millions-could-not-keep-their-health-insurance?lite

Obama admin. knew millions could not keep their health insurance

Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market, “40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date, “the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.”
