Ga Trail Riders June Ride

Choccolocco ORV Park - Open ride : June 14-15-16 2013

Choccolocco is located in Jacksonville, Alabama about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Atlanta. This park has 450 acres of forest covered mountain with dirt trails, rocks, & hill climbs. You name it, Chocco has it.  

Great camping areas with bathrooms & showers, also has an ice machine and pavallion.  Chocco is a great ride and camp destination.

Come and ride for a day, or camp and ride all weekend.


Trail Rating: Tier 1,2, & 3 (Trails for everyone)

Park Ride Fees::
    
     Daily Rates:
     $20 per driver/vehicle
     $5 per passenger

     Weekend Pass:
     $30 per driver
     $10 per passenger


Park Waiver- Signed when purchasing permits

Park Camping Rates:

$10 per person for the weekend

RV sites are $30 per weekend

Itinerary:
Friday – opens at noon, afternoon ride for those that come out Friday
Saturday – 9AM Drivers Meeting, Main Parking Lot, Ride all day, Lunch at campsites, Fire/Night ride
Sunday – 9AM Ride for those that stay

Bummer, never been to Choco and I'm gonna have to miss this one, having surgery done June 12th  :bs)

Better have some good recovery points as this place has a ton of loose rock! Only been there once, but it is either buggy land or built land. Not a lot for smaller rigs to do here. If I remember right there was not alot of bypasses either.  //SLAMIN//

Best I remember it. Was 1 or 2 trails of "crawling" the rest seemed to be more gas and let the locker(s) and tires work. Wont be there, think I am riding Hale that weekend

Yes, I remember gassing it up a certain hill and bending my rear shock mount. Same hill Larry destroyed the front knuckle too. //SLAMIN//

I just went there last month & didn't think it was too bad, but we didn't do anything like boat ramp. Loose rock for sure! I wish I knew the trail names better to fill you in more. The tough stuff we ran into all had bypasses - At least on rubicon.
