If I'm going to make the July ride I better stay at the lake for this one.

I like some Chocco.

Best I remember it. Was 1 or 2 trails of "crawling" the rest seemed to be more gas and let the locker(s) and tires work. Wont be there, think I am riding Hale that weekend

Yes, I remember gassing it up a certain hill and bending my rear shock mount. Same hill Larry destroyed the front knuckle too. //SLAMIN//

It's loose rock there but nothing bad. Lockers really do help along with the skinny. It's easy to get around the trails. Boat ramp is at this park and extremely hard because it's just slick. Stickies, a lot of speed, or power usually climbs it.

I've seen vids of guys on BFG stickies walk the boat ramp. I guess it is hit or miss. I tried and failed miserably. I have nothing for that obstacle. There is alot at this park, but alot is big stuff and steep climbs. I remember heading up a hill on maybe a 20% slope and loose rock. Made it halfway up and ended up loosing traction and loosing 30ft and could not regain my position.  ;D But the best part about this park is the bathhouse! Nicest yet I have found.
I've grown tired of this.

I made it up boat ramp; it was only half wet and it took spinning the tires a bit to warm them up.  With the full water flow I assume it would be a lot harder, and maybe need a running start.

You can get somewhat of a running start to it now. There used to be big rocks to navigate and crawl just to get to the edge of the slab but they moved those out of the way last year for a side by side race.

Doesn't make it any easier. I've tried twice...no dice.

I was trying to get a group together to go to Morris the weekend before... Definitely hitting you guys up instead!

Ok, newbie question and still tying to navigate the forum, open ride means i can attend even though i have no club affiliation yet, right?

Correct!

But have a look at our ride requirements so you're geared up properly.

Safety/recovery gear and CB mainly

Still getting the hang of this forum setting lol

Good deal. My XJ should be good to go from the list, mainly just a battery tie down.

I've got all the safety/ recovery gear and i need another CB after my last one died... sounds good though! Thank ya

Doubt it. Most parks are Fri-Sun
