cobra 38wxst Best Offer
« on: February 04, 2008, 09:39:11 PM »
This is a handheld model. It comes with a magnetic base and antenna to put on your vehicle or an antenna so screw on top of the CB to use while outside of the vehicle. It takes AA batteries or plugs into the cigarette lighter for power. This is a cheap and easy way to have a trail ready CB. I have used it for almost a year now and it has done great on the trail. On the highway the range is good enough to talk to people in a caravan.

I have everything it comes with brand new;
Instructions
CB
Antenna
Magnetic Base and Antenna (includes co axle cable)
Cigarette lighter plug in

The only bad is one of the prongs on the cigarette lighter broke halfway off after our Tellico ride last summer. It has worked fine since then; you just have to squeeze it down when you plug it in the lighter. Other than that it’s in great shape.

Make me an offer

Jeremy, I think I know why you are having trouble selling this. Most of us already have CBs.

haha i didnt even notice the review. I know on the highway I get more than a few hundred yards. Ive heard truckers talking and on occasion talked back to them loud and clear and couldnt even see their truck. On the trail i would say its definitly short range but good enough to where I could hear people at camp while i was out on the trail at River Rock

Bring to RR if you still have it. I think I would be very interested. Which means I would most likely buy this from you.

or Aetna, which ever you make it too.
