I'm looking for another holster option. Anyone have any experience with this type of holster?

The purpose is to look like a cell case. For those that have to work in dress clothes and shirt tucked in. There is a video showing the draw. Your right, it does look a bit awkward and not as ease as my Blackhawk SERPA but I was thinking maybe better than my ankle holster.

TC the versa carry, I may be wrong, is not conducive to wearing with your shirt tucked in.

I like the idea, not the application. Looks like if you have some love handles it would prevent the flap from full opening. Also popping the flap up, keeping it up while drawing 1 hand could be very hard during loss of fine motor skills in a stress situation. I can tell you it has taken a lot of practice to pop a mag pouch cover with my hand and grabbing the mag in 1 complete motion. I also dont like when you draw you only get 1 finger on the pistol to draw. In a hurry up situation I can see a fumbled pistol or a finger going on the trigger half draw. Either of those can be corrected with reps on drawing

Very good points. They all went through the back of my mind while looking at this. Without having on my belt to test it, I think all your point are spot on.  Also, my love handles would impede it's operation for sure.

Tony is correct, the Versacarry is a IWB holster. Not much out there for you if you have to tuck in your shirt. Do a google search and somebody has to have made something for that. But not sure how it would work. Sounds like your ankle carry is best. Glad I can walk around with mine on and then sit it on my desk at work  ;D

This is what I found as far as a casual/dress type of holster. I just hate carrying a back up as a primary. But at the end of the day, it's better on my ankle then leaving it at home.
