You could use a 33 as a spare just as well; anything close that holds air will get yiou off the trail.

i dont have a bumper, yes it will fit. i dont have a big boy rear bumper yet, and a 35 will be ok, for road use, i only keep it on now when traveling to wheeling events, then i leave it at camp.   at home it will sit
in the garage.  i have AAA

Kent,

For your spare you need to either buy a wheel with the needed bolt pattern and backspace, then find a tire, or find a tire and buy a wheel to match.  Or better still, find a wheel and tire already mounted that works.  IMO, if you're running 17" wheels then a 17" wheel for the spare makes the most sense.

My father-in-law has a brand new Dick Cepek mud country in a 315/75/16 (35x12.5x16) he would sell. It still has the sticker on it and has been stored in his garage for about 3 months. He got it in a bundle at the 4wheelparts jeepfest back in August. I think he wants $175 for it. LMK if your interested.

I will keep it in mind, im thinking i can find a spare wheel/tire combo for less.  new tire is nice but i dont want to spend that much if i can help it.  i looked at the tire, very nice looking btw.
