That was a great event, I really enjoyed it. Thanks to the volunteers for putting it together and leading it, and thanks to Danny and Allsouth for hosting. It was good to meet some people in the club who I haven't met before, and it was good to see some people new to off-roading who wanted to find out what it's all about.
Not having much garage experience myself, I really liked seeing how to pull an axle, and then the look at what the steering and suspension parts are and what they do. Basic stuff for a lot of you, but I've never had the opportunity to do much work beneath a vehicle since swapping out three starters on my Mercury Comet back in the 80s.
