During the GATR fest scavenger hunt it would be neat to have a golden egg (or whatever you want to call it) that was an instant winner prize of some sort.  Obviously it would need to be hidden better than the other regular point based items.

Good idea but there would be need to be more than one based on the trail difficulty. A small guy shouldn't have to go look on a buggy trail for one and the other way around.

The guy who bought my toyo tires lives close to Hawks Pride.  He said he'd guide me around (buggy trails) if I ever got over there.  Might be willing to lead a group if we schedule.

I agree. It's 4 hours for me, but wasn't that bad. There are two camping areas. Different trails for different folks so there is a lot available at the park. I am one of the few that would tow so diesel cost would be higher for me, but worth the cost when making a weekend of it.

Dang, that one sounds fun too.  With a couple of weeks lead time I can go to just about any of these places if anyone is interested in going on non-gatr weekends.   I can't go where buggies go, but I'm willing to try most single black trails.
