Hydrographic dipping
« on: December 08, 2013, 07:49:07 PM »
I have a good friend who can do hydrographic dipping at his shop in Ohio. He's done some really cool things and has a pretty vast ability at what all he can dip and the patterns. I'm probably going to send him an xbox controller to get dipped for my brother for Christmas. Any suggestions for what I could dip on the Jeep or in general I guess?

That's pretty bad ass!  There seemed to be some bubbles and valleys (I don't know the technical term), but perhaps that would go away during the curing process.

Yeah I'm sure it's hard with certain pieces with really complex surfaces and all, but it's awesome. I'm scavenging around looking for something to dip lol.

There is a shop in Ellijay that does this. The things that can be "dipped" seem to be endless.

Did you buy one of those 7 slot mock ups you posted a while back?  That would be pretty cool dipped in a camo or flame pattern.
