I keep a heater connected to shore power and set at just above freezing which keeps the cabin and inboard from freezing.

i winterize. I could be anywhere on the globe and an ice storm take out the power, and I'd have a $10,000 problem.

Winterizing is the way to go... but you don't have to listen to me... you could find out for yourself the way I did.
