Not sure if this is what your asking cause I don't know squat about cb radios, but his meter read "1" on channel 20 and "1.3" on channels 1 and 40.

Is that right?

Where is this shop? I haven't been able to get mine tuned properly.. despite trying many times. It's become a frustration.

That's a deal for $15. I spent 3 hours last night retuning mine. I was struggling to get an average below 2. Turned out the antenna shifted in the mount and was no longer grounded (due to not chipping off enough powder coat). Once I found that, I still had  to clip more of the antenna to get back to where I was. Frustrating, but worthwhile.

hollowell and 285

Just to make sure I understand correctly, get off 285 at Donald Lee Hollowell, head outside the perimeter (west), and there will be a truck stop I can pull into?
