It must be a common issue if they could fix it that easy. My issues are that the switches don't work all the time. I will switch it from straight blowing in my face to split between my face and feet and it won't switch over or take 3-5 minutes to change.

My check engine light came on a week after I bought the Tahoe...  Was expecting the worst...  Was a bad gas cap...  Love it when it's something easy...

BeerIAm it is Palmer Dodge in Roswell. They actually thought the same thing I did, when I called them on the phone the guys said we will probably have to put a heater core in it. luckily, we were both wrong

I was gonna suggest the vacuum hose or possible blend air door issue... control panels seem to do that too...

glad to see it was something simple like a rad cap

But it will eventually switch over without you having to jiggle anything (switches, buttons, cord, wires, etc)...correct?

Not just a bad gas cap but one that's not completely closed can give a CEL in newer cars.  My daughter had that happen to her, but luckily scanner showed the problem.  A tennis buddy's wife had their 2013 BMW in the shop and found just the same issue.  Both were slightly embarrassed.
