Clayton long arm kit for the ole ZJ, and a winch bumper... now to just get it all installed

3 link or radius arms? I have their radius arms on my XJ and they work well for me. Welding the crossmember to the unibody was not very fun...

I picked up the new Samsung 3d Smart TV for myself for Christmas. I've had it for about two weeks and still can't get over how awesome it is!

Clayton long arm kit for the ole ZJ, and a winch bumper... now to just get it all installed

Self install?  Wrench day opportunity with a warm garage and cold beer.

I don't have the welding equipment unfortunately... man I wish though! its a skill I would love to learn!

its that kit minus the springs, drop pitman arm, sway bar links, and added an upgraded track bar setup. got the arms from a guy on here so basically just bought everything else that was needed.... saved about 1400 :D

Damn, more drill bits!  It seems I can never have enough...so I get it.

I just installed that same CB in my truck.  It happens to be the one I have in my Jeep also.

I have some metal working tools (110v welder, plasma cutter, chop saw, grinder, etc), but I wish I had a workshop with a lift...skills still elude me!

You might find the cost of installation isn't too far from the cost of the tools, so consider buying the tools and gaining skills that will last you a lifetime.  I bought my metal stuff to a build a couple of bumpers (the most expensive bumpers in the world...as it turned out), but I have been able to use the tools for building other things and at this point I'm probably even on cost.  If I had it to do over again, I would get a 220v welder.

Good luck.

I have thought about doing that... pops has a plasma cutter, and I have plenty of tools... and have 220 run in my garage for my air compressor. now to find someone to teach me! HAHA

There are some really good vo-tech videos on YouTube, but good videos has not translated into awesome skill.  My quality has improved since my first weld, but they aren't pretty.
