Tony did you have your gears fixed for this ride, or did you roll with the chipped teeth?

Rubicon for the win. Real glad you didn't take your truck out there. You would have probably been real upset with yourself after the first trail.

Yeah probably, from the way I had read about Morris, I was thinking that it'd be easy to take it down some of the lighter trails and that there'd  be bypasses everywhere for the harder ones and I could watch everyone else. Haha that definitely would not have been the case.

Rolled w a few chipped teeth. I figured we were in Alabama, I would blend.

I was light on it, for the most part.

I assumed from the pics that Wes' ball joints blew out and took the axle shaft with them.  If the knuckle and outer C survived than that was a big plus for the repair job.  A lesson to be learned is to check ball joints periodically: http://www.wikihow.com/Check-Ball-Joints

If one ball joint breaks then the other will almost certainly go in another split second.

And don't go cheap when getting new ball joints.  Get the best you can afford.

Had a blast this weekend.  A little slick at times but great riding overall.

Did anyone with the club happen to pick up my two red Camp chairs? I'm pretty sure I left them at the camp fire. No biggy if not just hopeful.

Thanks.

I got them. Give 'em to ya next month or can meet ya somewhere. Let me know.

What is the absolute best available brand?  Some money is no object.

I would say those Moogs are the best parts store brand. Alloy USA ones and Syngery's are nice, but they're all in the same realm of quality.

Just washed the jeep and found some damage. Finally cracked my silly plastic side steps. Guess it's slider time! I see how this upgrade stuff comes about!

Everyone I have talked to says Moogs are crap and that the Napa bjs are the way to go at that price point.  Synergy joints are probably better but spendy.
