To the question about riding down on saturday there will be a couple of us going through Dallas on our way there on saturday morning. We can meet somewhere on the way and convoy down.

The tree situation will be favorable for hammocks. They will be a few yards away from the main camping area/campfire but there are plenty of trees on the edge of the parking/camping area.

I just hope the rain holds off. I rode here last year two days after it rained and it was a sticky mess in the morning. It did dry up and become ridable by noon though. If it's callin for anything more than 60% chance of rain I won't be going. Mud and I don't get along.

Cool...the QT at GA 61 and 278 is a pretty good meeting spot I've used before unless you've got a better idea.  Just tell me what time you'll be coming through and we'll meet you there.  I'm pretty good about being fueled and ready to roll at the designated time so don't worry...I'm not going to screw around there for 20 mins and make you wait.
