Savannah get together Yes or NO
« on: February 27, 2008, 12:04:26 PM »
Was thinking of hosting a get together here in Savannah and wanted to see if enough people would come.
I was thinking of making a weekend event. I have access to some cool trails, nothing too bad just some fun playing in the mud. was thinking that at night throw a good old country bonfire party. my friend is a DJ and said he would provide the music.
I figured I could do a "Low Country Boil" or a "Pig Pickin". (if you don't know what that is, google it)
was thinking of BYOB and of course, I'll provide plenty of "Corn based refreshment" (Ya'll can probably figure out what that is!)

any other ideas, please let me know!

Mudding is like sex
you see the hole
you think about it
you slowly ease into it
once you're in you tear it up

I could possibly. It is like a 4 hour drive for me more for others. Depending on the trails, turn out, places to sleep, its possible. I know ill be in Savannah April 2nd through 5th so maybe we can meet up.

How are the trails down there? Legal? If I can justify it maybe we will drive the JK instead of the KJ (liberty)

All trails are legal, my property and a friends, a couple hundred acres. LOTS of mud!
there are motels in town, about 10 miles, but we usually just camp and build a bonfire.

It's not that far from Flowery Branch.  I can be there in 5.5 hrs. from here (Murphy, NC).  It's about 3.5 hrs. from the 75/85 split in the middle of Atlanta.  Most of my inlaws still live in the suburbs of Savannah (Whitemarsh Island).  I could probably convince the wife to go visit her mom whenever you decide which weekend it is going to happen.........she doesn't have to know about the real motives!!!!

You kiddin'?  It's almost all the way across the state.  I've got way too many people telling me it's a 4.5 to 5 hour drive to disagree with them.
