Does anyone have firsthand experience with one of these?

I have a similar one from Swanson and it works great.  No knowledge of this one expert Woot had it for 99 for hd awhile back and a bunch of guys on here said Pyle sucks on other products.  Can't go wrong with GoPro but I can't justify the cost when there are alternatives at a quarter of the price or less.

I have a GoPro and I find I don't use it enough to justify what I spent on it (batteries die so damn quick).  Additionally, I use my GP in the Jeep, so the weatherproofness (r) of it really doesn't matter, in my case based on my current usage.   There was a weather resistant Samsung unit, similar in size to a modern phone that I probably should have gotten for <$90.

My guidance...buy a cheap one locally so you can return it easily if it messes up in the first few months of ownership.
