I really enjoy durhamtown actually. It's not really marked at all but when you find the right area it opens up to a lot of different trails. Mud, rocks, river crossings, etc. good stuff - I love DP

The freedom is nice too

Don't get me wrong, I had fun on the trails, once I found them. I just didn't like not knowing what each trail was or what was around each corner. Some decent maps with difficulty levels would make it better so one knows what to expect. Just think if you advertise as a 4x4 park, you would expect some kind of effort to give out information to drivers.

Looked like it would be a blast on dirtbikes. Seems to be their primary business anyway.

Durhamtown is mostly geared toward motocross and atv stuff.  I don't think they put a lot of effort into the 4x4 operation.  But like somebody else said, I kind of like the freedom of being able to do whatever, and also the fact that it is not very crowded on the 4x4 trails.

Really? That would piss me off pretty bad. It's hard to believe.

I've only gone in the Jeep once & funny enough, as much as I ride MX, I have never gone to DT on a bike.
My experience on going there in my Jeep would be sort of moot at this point since I went the first week they opened it & it was my first offroad trip in my Jeep.
It was a total mudfest (rained all day) & I was on street tires. The first rock that hit my frame, I freaked out &  rode with someone else for a little bit in the rocky area. When I finally did ride in my Jeep we hit the trails around 4, I got stuck in a mud hole & toward the end I got wedged against a tree. Once someone aired me down, I made it up that particular hill, but we spent the next few hours winching people up. I didn't make it home until around 1:30 & my Jeep smelt like rotten swamp butt for months!
