Par looks fun.

Question: is it worth the 3.5 hour drive for me? I have 35/open/open, so if it's literally impossible to enjoy the difficult trails without being a huge burden, i dont want the equivalent of fire roads for the distance traveled.

The trails you could see would all be done in about 4 hours. FSR with very steep climbs. Personally I would not drive 3.5 for a day trip to Beasley.  Its about 45min- 1 Hour for me, so its a nice trip for the day.

Agreed. Not worth the drive. I may try to come in friday and camp lite. Need some time in the great outdoors. I love my 6...

1:40 drive for me, hoping to make a day trip.  Still haven't been to Beasley.  Hope my schedule cooperates.

Thanks for the opinions. I'll spend that day putting the cj back together. .. which isn't that different than most other days :)

Here are two videos from when Kirk and I were out there last. Both of these are in the same spot, right at the tree root. I had to go around the rock and up the root a little on the right side (IROKs......).  With stickies, Kirk came right up the rock face with a little wheelspeed. Now to see if I can get this vids posted without screwing them up.

Those obstacles do not look very intimidating (prior to rolling footage), but the slipping around on those rocks looks dangerous.  //:hlp//  It didn't look too wet and since Kirk was there, I have to assume it was not wet.   //::)//

You know your self that no one picture or video does justice
to a trail. That trail is very steep and drops off the side of the Mtn
by the stump. You can tell the angle a little better in my photos.

93b isn't well know because it's easy my friend

Kevin nailed it. YOU MUST HAVE A TOW POINT FRONT AND REAR. And make sure it is a good tow point, not your leaf spring shackle or dinky hole in the frame. I have spent too many great days at this place pulling guys up and down the trails. Also, make sure you have GOOD TREAD on your tires. I remember a time where we had 2 guys show up on bald tires and did nothing all day but give Dannys rig a work out for pulling them all over the place. If you don't meet those 2 requirements then you might as well stay at the house. This is a VERY easy place but has very steep inclines and declines with ruts to traverse and some off camber spots while doing so. I have seen more rollovers and dumb things happen here than ANY other park in the south.

Now for some poking...

1. Mortallis, I have never needed a v8 and don't plan to need one anytime soon. Come off the saddle  //OLDSKOOL//

2. Kirk, that rig is way more capapable than you drive it as. Give me the keys and I could show you  //;D//

V8 was only in reference to the 93b when it's really wet. That trail and that trail only. Never got on a saddle. The rest of the mountain is still passable when really wet.

I second the statement about Kirk.  //popcorn//

Ya, I know pictures rarely indicate how difficult a trail is, but your pictures help put it all together!
