Best first mod of 08JKU

So I need some direction.
As I develop a plan to increase the payload capacity with suspension and brakes, I need help with other areas of improvement for the JKU.
Other than brakes and suspension what should be on the must do list?

You've got rubi body armor so I would get a winch and tree hugger, snatch block, long strap.

Consider having C gussets welded on and doing an oil pan skid. The stock trans and transfer case skid work well and really don't need to be replaced until you just want to get a flatter belly.

What about the evap tank. Is the 08 rubi well protected?

Are you positive the "payload capacity" limitation of a jku is the brakes & suspension versus the limitation being attributable to frame, axles, engine, and/or transmission?
What is your gvwr goal?

1400 lbs is the goal. The drivetrain is a concern but I don't think I am overloading it too much.

Might end up having to get the sincros replaced. I had it pop out of gear three times today in first. Greene Ford in gainesville said they covered all vehicles under 100k for 3 months. Well put em to the test on that. If that don't cover it, I hope the extended warranty I purchased will cover it.
