Also, the icomfort we got has some kind of cooling technology. Mattress firm will sell below retail btw.

I bought the Serta version of the tempur pedic as well. Pretty sure it's the iComfort but can't remember.  I love it, unless something major changes in the future, I won't eve buy a spring mattress again (and this is coming from someone who has spent a lot of nights sleeping on the ground and in vehicles)

Never really realized the benefit of a good mattress until 2 years ago when we bought this one.

I picked up the Original Mattress factory pillow top. It is a double sided pillow top so you can rotate and flip it.  About a grand for the king size with a real box springs (actually had springs).  I am loving it so far...I've had it about 5 months.

Good luck. A co-worker has the memory foam stuff and says it's hot.  He also said that once you are in it you don't move because it is tough to fight the foam that formed around where your body was located before.

I have the Costco nova foam versions of the memory foam mattresses.

The one you can pick up in the store for 500-600 or so is very good. They are on the spare bed and both beds up in the mountains.

For the main bed, after many weeks of fighting with the SO, lol.  We ended up with the most expensive version ordered online at Costco. It was 1500 on sale for 1000. She loves it, I think it's a bit better than the lower cost beds, but it's still better.

The top has the nice plush feel, they have air channels for cooling, then the lower part is firm.

I think they are a great deal for the money.
