Wtb: tj gas tank skid

I have a buddy that needs a factory gas tank skid for his tj. He's trying to get one asap. Anyone have one for sale?

Yep, but you will need to hammer it a bit, but not too much. $40?  It came off a 98 tj. If interested, I can take a picture of it.

Yea, I'm interested. If you could get pics that'd be great. We did an sye and MC uppers on his rig, and noticed his tank skid was bent more than we thought. Enough that it's in constant contact with his rear tb

I did...this morning in the mud!  I'll post up from my cell in a minute, but the picture is hard to tell anything about the skid other than I played in the mud at some point.  I will have to look for the tank straps (they hold the tank to the skid, then you raise the skid into place under the Jeep), unless he has them from the old skid.  I can tell you there is one smooth dent on the driver's rear side of the skid.

Thanks, I'll send him the pictures and see what he wants to do. I recently hauled off the TJ leftovers that I didn't sell or swap onto the LJ. The gas tank skid was one of them lol.
