Where can I go for basic offroading
« on: November 04, 2014, 10:04:39 AM »
So me and my girlfriend want to go out this weekend on some trails but nothing to serious. We live in gwinnett county ga in norcross something not to far would be good for us. And something with a nice view would be great as well.

Other than the rock pile at Allsouth, the closest legal wheeling is on forest service roads up above dahlonega or over at Durhamtown Plantation park.

Got pictures of the rig?

From Norcross you could make a day trip to Gulches ORV in South Carolina....

Gulches is the best place to go. maybe a little longer drive but well worth it.
The owner Skip is a great guy. He has rangers that will show you around and help out with any issues you might have.
Stick to the main trails there will be plenty to keep you interested. from there you can watch other guys on the bigger stuff.
don’t forget to bring food, drinks (non alcoholic) and a camera.
Have fun!
Danny
