Head light fix
« on: December 02, 2014, 02:41:39 PM »
Wife's car.  She comes home the other night and says she has a head light out. No, problem, told her I'd take care of it.

Swing by AutoZone and there are like 4 different bulbs that could fit it and a damn $200 Xenon bulb. I don't buy anything, this is a job for Google.

Pull up some BMW forum stuff and some YouTubes. Of course...super bad ass German Engineering means you have to take off 5 things to get to one light bulb.

I did what any loving and caring husband would do...fixed it redneck style.

You could have at least sprung for the LED light.

I approve!

Love it.  Only suggestion would be white tape and a white flashlight...

 //LMAO//

Could have at least taped an LED one on there to class it up a little!

Why didn't you give her a head lamp and tell her to drive with the top down?

Well, she came home and the redneck mod was Not to her liking. Had to get all German on it

Pulled out all the crap and found the bulb. Turns out it's not a xenon, so 15 bucks instead of 200.

Went and got the bulb and all is good.

Personally I like the flashlight idea better. Gives it character.

 //LMAO// awesome... if only you could have timed it around her birthday or your anniversary and called it a present to kill two birds with one stone.
