Offroad Side by Sides

I saw a FB posting for a Polaris RZR.  I've never looked at them so pulled up the web site.  HOLY SHIT!  Do people really spend that much for these things?  What are the capabilities?

A lot of guys on hardline will trade you one for a 4x4.  Great for fan work and hunting and racing but not what we do. IMHO

I think having a gayzr would be fun, but I wouldn't buy one or get rid of my Jeep for one.

I have seen them go up tee pee. Seen them go up Los primos. They are pretty capable actually. Some people even rebuild them to race in the Baja 1000.

I know. I did!
RZRs are great, but they won't get you to the trail, can't shut the doors and turn on the heat (without spending a lot more money), don't hold their resale, etc...etc...

Plus factor is good power to weight ratio and maneuverability; minus is small tires and short wheelbase.

I think you could have a lot of fun in one built right for crawling, but as said they are pricey.

I figure when I'm too old to drag myself into the buggy I might get one since the doors are low.   //OLDSKOOL//

They are good for going fast through the trails. I would rather have one than have a 4 wheeler. Better seating for sure.
