For those staying in a hotel, which one are you going for?

I did the Hampton Inn.  It's only a mile or so down the main road once you get out of the park into downtown J'ville.

Was hoping to make this, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.  You guys have fun and be safe.  Don't treat your rig like I do!

Winter camping tip: buy some hot hand packets and put them in your sleeping bag.
I can tell you are a hiker. When weight isn't an issue it is boiling water + large nalgeen + wool sock + femoral artery. You can put it in your bag about 10 minutes prior to getting in and your bed will be nice and toasty. I don't recomend doing this with anything lesser than nalgeen quality or you will wake up with ice cycles on your nuts.
Any word on firewood? My strategic packing of a wrangler will start tomorrow.

I will be filling up my bed with firewood, minus the space taken Up by spare tires. For those of us there Friday night we can gather around one big fire if ga want. I imagine we are going to go through wood quickly with the temps.

Yeah that would be awesome. I am going to be on the look out on the way in. If I see some for sale I might set up camp to empty the jeep and double back.

Gotta put a new yellow top in the jeep and find out who stole my tires (JOHN) and I'll be loaded. No telling what time Friday, but I'll try to escape work early.

Well the Jeep is home so that's a load off my mind.  Getting it so late has put a slight cramp in my preparation plans as I wasn't 100% sure it was coming home today.  Anyway still planning on riding tomorrow afternoon.

Looking forward to this weekend with everyone.  Been way too long for me off the rocks.
