Weld 1.  Steel bracket 0.

That shows just how much force is applied to/through our suspension components!  Crazy.

Thanks Will. Danny and I were discussing a plan for a fix when I get it back to Allsouth. My wheeling is done for this weekend (other than jumping in as a passenger.

John are you headed to the shop and back?
Just need to stabilize the front axle and get the jeep off the mountain tomorrow and back on the trailer.   Then it will go back to Allsouth and we will get it fixed.  The upside is I can do more drinking this weekend.

Did allsouth weld that on?
They did.  Looks to be burned in properly.

That bracket looks like paper. What brand is it? I would really look at getting or making something considerably thicker.

No need to get your panties in a wad there Doug. Just asked a simple question.
But I am with Ben on that bracket is undersized. As you said that is what a shake down is for. Sure am glad that did not happen on the highway. Even better that it did not take out them expensive ORI'S.

Yeah, that could have been really bad. Glad you know the weak link and sorry it did not atleast get you thru the weekend. But now you know.

Is that the upper link mount that came with the axles?
Most LCOG Builds are like a fat girl in Yoga Pants, just cause it fits doesn't mean it works...

It came with the old axle. Weld is good. Just ripped the bracket. We are building a 4-link for the front when we get back. The front arms are Rubicon express. They will be replaced when we get back
