I had planned a short trip out of the US for that weekend, but now I'm thinking I'd rather go to WR.  Seems I ought to get Lions Den off the bucket list.

Lions Den is Harlan. Unless there is another?

Either way, I want to watch you do it.

How does Windrock compare to Gulches? Are there intermediate trails or is it all technical expert stuff?

Windrock is HUGE...it is 100 times bigger than Gulches with 300+ trails.  There is a lot for beginners, buggies and everything in-between.

Every level of trial you could want.

Not sure I want a trial, Doug. Sounds like I may have to put off my trip to the beach though.

From what Ive heard from David ( TrailDuty), He said he went with the club and he was on 33s and a 2.5" and he said he had a blast with Jim (LuvnmyTJ) on the easier trails. I am a bit nervous to drive my rig up there and have to drive it back home but It sounds like there is fun for all. I like to watch youtube videos of different parks before I go to them and see what its all about.

I've never been, so I will plan on bringing my dad and my son along if everything works out. It's on my calendar

Just saw that this is the same weekend as the Jeep Jamboree. Jeeps only.
Does that affect us at all?

That is a huge group that will be there.  I don't believe the park is closed to other groups, but they do have pre-set trail runs, and they send folks up to close the trail to others until they have entered and passed.

I doubt they will be on the blacks our group wants to run.
