Italy Trip
« on: May 11, 2015, 03:08:11 PM »
I am taking a trip to Italy this week and going to Venice, Medina to the Ferrari Manufacturer, and to Monaco to see the Grand Prix. Was planning to fill this thread with the cool car pics I get over there. I know this is not necessarily Jeep related but what car guy doesn't enjoy Formula One race cars and Ferraris? I love them!

Made it here to Venice and am just amazed of the architecture and how packed tight everything is! Here are some sweet yachts docked right near where we are staying as well as a shot of the canals close by.

I did one of the ferrari musuems today in Manarello. It is the newer one I believe and has quite a few cars inside. Tomorrow I will be touring the other more historical museum in Modena. Also hoping to take one out for a spin!

Great pics!

I was a little jealous of your trip but if you get to drive a Ferrari I'll be A LOT jealous.

This one was one of the more interesting ones to me. It has not one, but two Inline V8 engines! One in the front, one in the back. The two engines are mated into one transmission to produce 270 hp. This was made is 1935 if I remember correctly.

Great pics Connor! It always amazes me of what people engineered thst long ago especially with the tools and technology available at the time.
