Thanks guys for the information.  My wife has a guy coming out today to talk to us about the wireless security stuff.  Depending on how that goes will reach out to Kerry.  Definitely thought that it would never happen to us so wasn't prepared at all for it.  Still just glad no one was home.

I have been in a pissy mood all day.  Need to go grab me a beer or 3.

bummer,  What part of town are you in? Some alarm companies will wire you for free. In the City of Atlanta we have to register so they can ticket us for false alarms. I have been tempted to disconnect from the service and just have the Alarm, the cops always show up after the thieves have left anyways. You should check out some of the computer/web based systems.
I'm in Smyrna.  Based on what the cops told me yesterday that the alarm sound is really the best.  They may still break the window but if the alarm goes off they will typically take off.  There was actually a sticker on the window that they broke which said protected from Brinks (from the previous owner).  They still broke the window and since no alarm went off, they came on in.
