Shave them.

Won't help. There is a problem located somewhere between the steering wheel, driver seat and gas/brake pedals.
I just have to keep telling myself that 60's will break too. ;D

I knocked a dent out (mostly) of my front cover this last maintenance session. :o Got to buy the 3/16 cover soon.

Krawler00 take a deep breath, the guy who started that thread agreed with you. The other guy is just an Ass hat.

I like highline type setups as well as moderate lift setups.
I will be putting a rear sway bar (broke the stocker) on Tj asap, my TJ is too loose .

Yeah, that guy agreed with me. That was the part I was happy about. The ASS HAT is the one who got me pissed. Idiot. I bet he wheels over alot of curbs in Kansas somewhere!

Wheeling is out for a week or two.  :(
Waiting on shocks and T-case bracket to show up.
Running (Makes me laugh too) in a 3k marathon on the 26th and I will be leaving for http://www.kingandprince.com/ early on the 27th for a week.

Ha, ya'll are thinking too small. 3/16", 1/4" pfft. Get the 3/8" thick one.

I know this thread has slightly changed topics, but back to the original topic: limiting up travel doesn't limit droop very much, if it all from what I've seen in my short year of wheeling. I can see it being more of a limiting factor if you have short arms, but with long arms I don't think a lack of up travel would affect droop at all. Hell, I have a 4.5" short arm lift on 35's (which is fairly low in XJ land - 3" can be done on 35's though) and I can still drop the front springs off the upper spring perch. Alex completely lost a spring at River Rock in February and as discussed already, his rig is low, even though it seriously needs some spring retainers  ;D
