describe 'fixed'

I'm ready now to go now, except for some minor things to get done.

Finally fixed my Moab issue (exh backpressure valve) plus exhaust up pipes and a ported compressor housing while I had the turbo out.  First time it's been out and don't want to have to do it again anytime soon. I hope this gets my MPG back.

Nice.  Wish I could find a good clean 4 door 7.3.

If you do, they are an arm and a leg.

No kidding!  I missed out on the deal of the century a few years ago and still regret it. A friend of mine posted his on FB and it sold in less than 45 min

The pipes are stock from International 7.3, no performance but they seal better than the gaskets that Ford used.  One of my up pipes was leaking at the gasket so some exhaust pressure was escaping prior to reaching the turbo.

The rest are not stock but not really any performance parts. The exhaust adapter has a smooth bore and eliminates the sticking valve I had. The compressor housing is from ATS and I am hoping it will eliminate the turbo surge I had when towing under heavy throttle.

Cant wait for a weekend of camping with the weather cooling off.

Thanks, Scott.

This trip is going to be awesome!  Good weather (Allah willing), good folks (some great ones), great park!

I bought a 1 7/8 box wrench for the jam nuts on the Johnny Joints....holy crap is this thing huge!  I had no clue it was going to be the size it is (length and weight).

Ruffstuff is making jam nut wrenches now for under $7. Can't beat them for the price.

Before ordering the wrench I looked up the size information for a 1.25" jam nut and ended up with 1 7/8" (https://www.engineersedge.com/hex_nut.htm).  There is surprisingly little forum information about the size wrench needed for a 1.25" jam nut.

I wonder if the ruff stuff jam nuts (1.75") are slightly smaller than standard jam nuts (1.875").  I didn't have an eighth of play in the wrench/nut, to the best of my knowledge.
