That's the worse part of it. It's a whole hill of boulders that come to that point. There are exits before that one spot that get into a pretty technical spot again to the right. Same trail Doug, Tony, Jay, Matt M, and me did if they remember that on late Saturday afternoon.

I thought Wes and I tried it, but bailed after beating the crap out of our vehicles.  Is this the one on the left side, near moon rock (or something like that)?

No, it's right next to the main road on the left hand side going up towards the pavilions.

I was about to post the same. Forecasts aren't saying much about this Erica storm up that way by the weekend or even during the week. I'll take the heat over the rain though.
