Vendor dinner at McCormick & Schmick's tonight.
That place is OK, at least the one in Dunwoody is.  I've had mixed success there, but usually great service.

It wasn't that great to be honest.  I didn't get a steak though and got fish.  Just the overall experience was lacking compared to high end places.

It's a national chain steak/seafood place.  Last time I went there was becuase I had a gift card.  Only large chain I really like is Ruth's Chris.
I'm loving Capital Grille...and I'm pretty sure it's a big chain.  Dinner there tonight....or Taco Mac.

Had Capital Grill for lunch in Charlotte. Agree they are top shelf. McCormicks sucked my last 2 visits like red lobster so no more.  Today had the Ribeye sandwich, and it wasn't sliced ribeye. Incredible. So tender, bite it like a burger. My associate had a wagyu burger with an egg. Looked tasty.

I've never been disappointed at a Capital Grille.  Sounds like a great lunch.

Did SweetWater Brewery and then Del Frisco's last night.  NY Strip was good but not the best I've had by any means.
I've wanted to do del Frisco, but the one in Philly named Double Eagle..something about that name sounds awesome to me.  The place is nice, like any high end steak joint

I'm trying Fogo in Dunwoody for the first time, tonight.  Strike one:  not a single IPA available!  I'm sure the food will be good, but really, no IPA...WTH

I ended up with the 38 day dry aged, 18 oz bone in ribeye; It was fantastic!  Ordered medium rare and was cooked perfectly.

We did bone marrow and wagyu meat balls for appetizers.  I found the marrow to be ok, maybe overdone with toppings, compared to what I've had at Rathbun's.  I loved the meatballs...very tasty.

We had lobster mac & cheese, fried Brussel sprouts, sauteed spinach, and sweet potato something or another.  The Mac and cheese was awesome, the Brussel sprouts were good but not as good as capital grille, the spinach was great which is to be expected, and I didn't eat the potato thing.

The bread was ok, but the butter was freaking fantastic!

Beer selection was limited, but I made do with a couple Stone Ruinations.

Service was fantastic.  My view was incredible...I had a seat facing the downtown Roswell street...lots to look at!  Parking was easy, but street slots were taken so I paid 5 bucks for an open lot across from the restaurant.
