Trying Del Frisco' s Double Eagle in Dunwoody for the first time.  Service and appetizers are awesome.

We'll see how dinner goes.   I went cheap and got the Prime Strip.

I just couldn't stick this vendor with a $125 'Double Eagle' dry aged bone-in ribeye

I hosted a work dinner there and the restaurant gave me $150 on a “rewards” account. Barely covered half the bill on our date night...

Great food and amazing service though!
Can't hate on them because you're a bit spender!

Yeah, it is expensive, but good.   The only thing I didn't like was their brussel sprouts...not as good as Capitol Grille or the ones I make.

Probably the best thing I had was their calamari, with the pork belly as a very close second.  It was the best calamari I've ever had.

Coworker took me to this hole in the wall BBQ joint
Heirloom Market BBQ
2243 Akers Mill Rd
Atlanta GA 30339

770 850 1008 or 770 612 2502
https://heirloommarketbbq.com/

I had the Korean BBQ sandwich. Spicy hot pork. Kimchi was a little sweet. Collards were awesome.
Its not a place I could take Laura to, there's nothing for vegetarians.

I need to go back and sample the brisket samwich.

also discovered a Korean BBQ joint in EAV.

That was right down the road from us when we lived in Atlanta. We ate there often

In N Outs do have a starchy taste/texture but I don't think they are the worst.  I despise Del Taco's fries so I'm sure it's all subjective.

Thrashers French Fries on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland with Malt Vinegar.  Best in the work (IMO).  Five Guys does the trick as a close second.  McD’s does have good fries but they are genetically modified not to have black spots.  Not that I care, just read that in an article.  Wish they were a protein instead of a starchy carb.

Tried the new Korean Steakhouse in Cumming. Was pretty good for $25 all you can eat. The ribeye was better than the filet to me. Their house seasoned steak was good too. We also cooked some shrimp and pork belly.  Comes with salad, sides and a bunch of condiments. Will definitely go back.
