I recently went to a small Mediterranean joint near Dunwoody named Cafe Sababa (4639 N Shallowford Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338).  This place is a hole-in-the-wall place that was fantastic!  My group of co-workers shared a hummus appetizer that had ground lamb and pita pieces...enjoyed by all.  I had a gyro wrap with fries...large portions, very happy fat boy here.  One guy had a shawarma plate, which he said was good.  His plate came with more hummus and a small salad.  Another person had a kabob plate which came with more hummus and a small salad.

A good Med joint in Lawrenceville is:  http://www.mymessinas.com/  Kell loves the Moussaka Plate.  I like the gyro plate.  Owners/servers are nice there.

We've had great success for Greek food at Athen's in Roswell.  I haven't been there in years, but I used to have their grub frequently when I worked in that area.  http://www.athensgreekrestaurant.com/

Finally, since I'm in the Med mode of thinking, there is a Greek-ish joint in Marietta named "It's Greek to Us" (http://www.itsgreektousmarietta.com/)  They serve Greek food, but they have play spanish music.

Seed -Upscale American -  (http://www.eatatseed.com/)  Never had a bad meal here. It's connected to a little wine bar that is nice for a drink before or after dinner.

I agree on Seed...pretty solid place, every time.

Little Alley Steak (http://littlealleysteak.fhfoodtradinggroup.com/)- some of the best steaks I've ever eaten.  Cool atmosphere, crazy whiskey list.  They also own a few other restaurants in downtown Roswell that all do very well. (Salt, Fix, and others)  All of their restaurants are very well run.

In my very humble opinion...best steak in Georgia.  Every bit as good as Bones, Chops, Rathbun's

Hugo's Sunday brunch, solid as you can get.  And a Bloody Mary bar 10' long, need I say more.
