Had to leave work early. I either have a bug or food poisoning.

Damn John, I almost stopped at the one on HWY20 on the way back from the vet today.  Which one did you go to?

John, I'll ask it properly, "To which one did you go?"

Kell and I went to Smoke Jack last weekend.  It was fantastic, especially the burnt ends and ribs.

I ordered the wings and was disappointed that they changed the style from the Pterodactyl wings to the typical wings you get anywhere, but on the positive side, they were awesome tasting.  I ordered them dry with the sauces on the side.

The sides were great, too.  We had Mac and cheese (pretty boring; very much like Velveeta Mac n cheese), corn pudding, greens, roasted veggies, and pimento cheese grits.

Went to Brine at Avalon in Alpharetta today.  Very good. No pictures. Sorry.

Killer Bloody Mary
Fresh Apalachicola oysters
Very nice, lightly fried clams on a clam roll.

Sooo good. I will go back.

I just devoured a Large Egg and Cheese Biscuit from Martin's on Veterans Memorial in Austell. Those biscuits are so dang good, I'm glad I can't have one all the time. That would wreck my fitness plan.
