It was at an Ace hardware store on Roswell road.

^^^thats a deal. Also, most places will sell you a stand alone egg, but you have to push them on it. The last one I bought was a large, floor model for $550. $250 will get you a good bit of add ons. It would be great to give Roswell hardware business because of CFR. Let them know that's why you're going there if you do. Cook's warehouse has been great to me too. Like I said the other night, a large is a great size if you are planning on sticking with one. I feel like I'd hesitate to cook as much on an XL

Why?

Pure speculation since I don't own one. More lump needed, slower to get going (I think), more expensive accessories. I have a family of six and one large is plenty for us. I never hesitate to fire it up even for something small.  Don't get me wrong, I think the XL would be awesome for big groups and parties. I know Tony has loaded his large with at least two pork butts, but I bet you could do 4.

Raisinhead:
Or get an XL and a minimax
