2007 JK Rubicon Unlimited - built but damaged
« on: February 20, 2016, 11:35:03 AM »
hi ya'll, a couple of ya'll saw my jeep when I joined you at blairsville a couple years back. Unfortunately jeep got backed into a tree real hard and suffered frame/body damage.  It drives great, but I need to sell it as it's not a good work daily driver.

It's a '07 JKUR on a 3" poly performance lift, built front D44, 37km2, half-doors.

I've got it listed on eBay. I would like to get $15k for it. Jeep is in Atlanta near perimeter mall.

Dang, hate that happened.  Curious why didn't you claim it on insurance and let them total it and make you whole?
Good luck with the sell.

Hey Doug,
I did claim it with insurance.  My original plan was to keep it the 07 and fix it up or make it a dedicated trail vehicle.  Insurance left the title alone, so it's got a normal title.  At at the end of the day, as much as I want to keep it (and as with most of us, as much as I put into building it up...), i'm not in a position between work and family to have just a fun vehicle. I really need a car for work purposes.

With the accident, this is best run with the half door and topless.  The soft top provides protection from the elements but it leaks. Not too much of a worry as the whole tub is spay-lined.

So I've bought a new jeep and am selling this one to pay for it.
