Yep! I have manual drums all around on the flat fender. You have to think about stopping a long time before you actually want to stop.

And then there is the whole changing shoes thing.

I'm talking about changing them.  You need 6 hands!
I pulled the passenger drum off and a pile of broken parts fell out!  The u shaped thing is actually supposed to be straight (star adjuster bolt) springs were mangled, one brake show was connected to nothing.  Can't believe I drove 420 miles round trip to Morrs Mountain, and spent a day on the trails.  Dodged a bullet there!
  Changed and good to go now
