Drinkin’ and eatin’ good tonight. I’ve been meaning to try Pernicious for awhile now. I have always said that one of my favorite beers was one of my home brews from 2012, an IPA that I brewed and dry-hopped with only Falconer’s Flight hops and this is the closest beer that I’ve ever had to that one. Pernicious is a very tasty IPA.

One of my short list fav’s

Probably my favorite, but definitely top 5, too.

wow...I had not heard of the retirement announcement.   More power to him

Same with Gronk.  If you have the money, why the heck would you subject your body to the beatings if you didn't have to or have the 100% desire to.

George Dickel Tennessee Sour Mash 8 Year. For the price you can not beat it. Great flavors and nose, plus super smooth finish. My personal favorite sipping whiskey. All it needs is a glass.

Wild leap just won some poll on USA Today or something for best new brewery. The alpha abstraction series is awesome!

There was a sticker on top of the six pack asking for people to vote in that poll

They are from my home town in LaGrange. If you’re ever graced with spending an evening down that way, it’s a cool little spot near the square and they usually have bands outside. Kid friendly too. Kinda weird at first since it’s pretty much a bar scene and then suddenly a gaggle of 4-year-olds come running around the corner... then again, guess that’s life if you’re a parent.
We have not taken our kids down there before but we always enjoy it. The IPAs are very tasty and I think the blonde is decent too.

I love the family friendly angle that breweries are taking. We’re even taking the tot to the Creature Comforts 5th anniversary party next weekend
