That sucks John. goo luck with a quick repair
What sucks just as equal is if you want to wheel the rest of the weekend your going to have to replace it with another radiator with plastic jugs top and bottom (any brand at a local auto parts store) instead of being able to upgrade to an all aluminum one.

I need to pull my soft top off and while I'm doing that Scott and Tony are like my pit crew airing down my tires. Kent was supervising.
We are ready to roll out pretty quickly. We have a game plan and start out up the main trail and I am tail gunner. All of a sudden, bam. Explosion out the front of my jeep. I can smell coolant so I'm thinking the radiator hose. Once it cools down, we investigate and the entire top of the cheap ass plastic radiator blew apart.
Tony towed me back to the trailer and I just removed the radiator and am off to the parts store.

Sorry, John...that sucks.
It did make me go lookup the setup Allsouth is installing on mine. According to a certain sales person (he probably considers himself a fabricator) at Allsouth, "We've installed a lot of these and never had a problem with one."
Turns out, I'm getting the setup like Jason put in...Mishimoto all aluminum.

All is well. I got a replacement at Advance and got it installed. Discovered one of the wires from the relay to my electric fan had broken at the connector. So it is likely that is what caused the radiator to overheat (although it all happened so quickly that I got no warning lights or temp gauge reading). We wheeled for 3-4 hours this afternoon and had a blast. I will be upgrading that piece of shit plastic radiator with aluminum along with an aluminum overflow. I hear griffin is good but need to do some research.
