What a great day and fantastic event yesterday. Weather was superb. Thanks to Scott for letting me ride shotgun in the afternoon, it was good to get in the woods for a while. Here are a few pics I took of our group.

Great job with the event this year guys! Bobby and Tony put in several hours of work for this event and it showed. Everything ran smooth between raffle, gate, wheeling, etc.  Everyone with me had an awesome time.

Post what you have!

I'll start with a few, but I didn't take many pics at all.

I was limited to Friday-only because of a family obligation Saturday, but had a good day wheeling.  Went out with Tim Kirk and our friend Marshall.  First run was on the 40 trails (47/45/43), although I'm not sure which was which in which order as I was the trailing rig.  Some tough obstacles with the mud.  I wasn't expecting it to be so, but my 39 Krawlers seemed to hook up better than the other two with 42 TSLs.  On the last obstacle, Marshall was giving it hell on a rock (basically shaving it with his rear diff until he cleared) showering me with mud clots.  So I came to the conclusion that a windshield is a good thing even in a buggy.  I noticed he was leaking something, and it turns out his RCI fuel cell had spring a leak, so it was back to camp.

How many ppl do you know carry a spare fuel cell?  Turns out Marshall had one!  He got it put in, and after some lunch we went out again for some easier trails.  The exit obstacle on the George Winter trail was tricky, as was the big slab rock (don't remember the number).  Then Marshall started having fuel problems, so we headed back around 5.

Buggy did well with no issues, so I'm fairly confident in it for Moab.  Having the spare on the rear causes no problem other than blocking the view in the mirror, and it's possible having a bit more weight on the rear tires is advantageous.
