Oh and BTW, all 3 manufacturers have WAY too many trim levels.  Ford is the worst.  I remember when you bought a pick up truck the only options were AM, AM/FM, or AM/FM/Cassette.   //LMAO//

I'd have to drive all 3 before making any kind of decision, but would favor the Ford over the GM or RAM.  I could get the best deal on a GM or RAM but I've always liked the Ford Super Duty trucks.  I don't think you can go wrong with any of the 3 and with proper maintenance, it should be the last truck you have to buy.  My wife wants an F250 diesel for her retirement vehicle (she's an equestrian girl) because she knows I'll always have other cars she can drive.

I found the Ford ride to be very hard.
The Ram was cush n the 2500 coil spring version.
The GM is in-between.

I thought I was a Ford guy, until I drove it.

Edit:  I was anti GM, until I drove it!

Supposedly the aluminum strategy is moving to the Superduty platforms... I hope Ford does a better job on the 250+s

STUPID DUCKING TEST!!!  Who in the hell would allow someone to do that to their truck!  Even the tool box test event seems unrealistic...I've never had that happen, but I also do not use my truck as a money maker.

With Clark on this one, who dumps crap like that in a 1/2 ton truck? Unrealistic test.

I can see dons point on the tool box thing, but the other one..  90% of the truck beds i see are lined with some kind of liner which protects crap like that..

I would tend to lean toward clarks view, unless its your MoneyMakerTruk(business) not sure if its that big of a deal.   If when i ever buy a truck, im having a bed liner installed or sprayed on.

I can remember when the Ferd guys would put out commercials about how bad the Tundra's bed would flex going over rumble strips...while probably true, who drives miles and miles over rumble strips?  It's all about marketing...nothing real world related to it at all.

Now, if the Ferd, Yota, and GM guys would put out a commercial on the Ram's interior chrome blinding the driver...that would be a real world situation and maybe Ram would do something about it.  :)

Most LCOG Builds are like a fat girl in Yoga Pants, just cause it fits doesn't mean it works...

I have the  spray on stuff on it now...it works, but it rubs away over time.  I would rather buy a quality matte finished plastic part, but I may have to pull the old stuff off and re-spray it.

If you have to pull it off and the plastidip isnt working you could try either hydrodipping or a diy vinyl wrap in matte black

To quote someone, that would be a:

"STUPID DUCKING TEST!!!  Who in the hell would allow someone to do that to their truck! ...I've never had that happen"
