Good topic. Just good to keep it in everyone's mind.

The pic of me above isn't as bad as it looks. I think the passenger rear shock still has some travel so the tire was firmly planted.

It was an extremely conservative line. I'm surprised this one was used for a potm. :)

So building on all of the points discussed. Would it make sense to have a helmet and wear it?  If so, what type of helmet would be sufficient?
Axel off road at one time made helmets not sure of any one else and they are not around anymore

I wanted to buy one of these but he quit making them to work on a new design.  Now the new design seems to be taking infinity

Pretty sure @Scott F. carries one, but never seen him where it  //;D//.

When the Moab Locals put on a helmet, we usually didn't even attempt it.

I'm just hoping the voters reward me for taking a sensible and safe line.

I have looked at Pro Tec Skate board helmets and have been taking my white water helmet with me on rides. I feel like as long as I don't have lockers I'm safe from the scary stuff. But the off camber stuff is scary anyways. I am currently looking at Cage options and possibly welding part of it myself. And using the Poison Spyder Bolt in kit.

every upgrade, 4 more are required, and they require 4, and so on.

Any idea the helmet brand/type the Moab locals were using?

Axel helmets look just like Protec helmets that people use for biking and skate boards
