Clark is being modest I tried getting him to get his tires on the dry rock and when he did he couldn't gain any ground but he moved over to the wet stuff and slowly walked up it like he owned that rock   //SLAMIN//. and there is a so called video of it

damn, that's awesome.

One of the toughest obstacles we see at all our parks, hate that I missed seeing it crawled. I have never seen anyone make it in person, and I have seen some buggys hit it full speed.  I have seen a few YouTubes of people crawling but it sure would have been cool to see in person.

Simply means Clark will have to do it all over again on the next trip.  I would love to see someone make it in person too.

When conditions are right, in this case DRY alot is possible. I am awaiting the video evidence...

@clark123456 were you locked or unlocked? And what gear(s) were you in? I know you have the superlow atlas

We had 3 buggies try it last weekend, all with no success. One was on used 39" reds, one on brand new 37" treps, and me on garbage KM's. We had more water last weekend though

The closest was the 39 reds, who coincidentally had the lowest crawl ratio and could go the slowest in a controlled matter. Even then, furthest he got was half way. He had made it last year on the same tires, but that was with a heavier rig and even lower gearing. I'll add, that according to him, the water flow was higher last year when he made it.

I think the trick is stickies and stupid-low gearing

Yes, I was locked.

I'm 241-ish:1 final ratio, but on small ass 39" reds.  (3.83 x 2.72 x 4.3 x 5.38; AX15 first x Atlas t-case doubler x Atlas t-case main x diff).  Nothing but idle, and awesome steering :)

Rob (outlaw) told me the trick is don't break idle, be stupid low ratio, and stickies.  I met all three criteria, plus my tires were in 7 psi range.

/\--that's it.

I will come forward as an eye witness to testify....I saw it all in super slow mo. West coast rock crawlers would have been proud. Red labels and super low was the answer. There was still water running down the rock but dry vs wet didn't seem to make much difference.

I tried with no luck. Not only did my tires not grip as well but my 110:1 gearing with larger tires was not low enough.

That was the first time I have ever seen anyone make it in person.  //SLAMIN//
