Is it drying at all

Oh yes...prefect conditions.  Seriously, we're running a trail we ran this morning and we're walking it.

I will say Hale isn't lacking big challenging trails. Had a good time. Messed my rear drive shaft up. Need to order a new one. As per Jays instructions since I had new fenders I had to hit some. I hit a tree.

I'm safely home, and clean...boy did I stink!

Several comments:
1) Mark's generator was a game changer for us camping folks.  I talked to Kell, so I imagine I'll have one in the near future.

2) when my hydro hose busted, several of the regulars, and some irregulars, were there to supervise and help.  I am truly appreciative of the club, and specifically the members who always jump in to help.  Patrick, Tony, John, and Cole (and his significant other, Shawna?) were superstars.  There may have been more...i just suck at remembering everyone while working to get going again.  Cause is unknown, but I was tail gunner and turning right to head down a hill when the steering wheel recentered and smoke came out of the engine compartment.  I shut down the jeep, got out, and saw a bunch of fluid pouring out.  One of the hoses that runs from the pump to the orbital had pulled out of the compression fitting at the orbital.  I was not at full lock, I haven't been doing anything extreme for the last couple of minutes before it blew, it would have been unlikely (I would go so far as to saw impossible) it was pulled out, so pressure must have done it.  Being on the highway at speed would have been terrifying.

3)  Tony's meat and Mark's beans were fantastic!  It's what's good to eat like a king.  John's chicken on Thursday night was as good as always...and it was nice to not have to worry about that meal.

4) Justin and I are best friend new...and he agrees with me on essentially everything.

5) Kevin's equipment trailer has spring assists on the ramps...I'll be looking into that for mine.

6) Green Apple Jim Beam is good, and much different than green Apple Crown.

7)  The bathroom facilities at Hale have been added...totally different experience every morning than the last time I was there.

8) hale is still freaking awesome, but the wetness made it really challenging.

We did black diamonds all day. 37" tires look small at Hale Mountain

I just arrived home as well. My first time to Hale and it was great. Reminded me of Golden (rock, rock and more rock).

Wheeling on Thu afternoon after the drenching rain was like wheeling on a slip and slide. Fri morning was better but still slick. I was amazed at how well things dried out. By Fri afternoon we were just walking up obstacles that  we struggled with earlier in the day.

Had a great time as always with the GATR crew. Big thanks to Mark for bringing the generator. Having a fan running in the back of the truck made for some good sleeping.

I had no cell coverage while at Hale. I have a bunch of pictures to go through and post.

Clark on the "Rock Garden" at Hale.  He did this obstacle like a boss. It was very sketchy.

You had to be there for this one.  Those rocks are freaking huge.
