My pockets aren't quite deep enough for snap on or Mac so I stuck with a 3 ton steel HF rapid pump jack that works great for the price. If I had more $ to spend I would have possibly bought another brand but at less than $70 it seems to be great. Their pro line seems to be much better than standard HF junk. I'd NEVER buy drills or anything electric like that from there though. I had 4 1/2 grinder that didn't last very long at all.

As a former professional mechanic for 25 years I probably have more in tools than I do in my house. I have a lot of the major brands, Snap-On, Mac, Craftsman, Matco, and several others. I've bought a lot of things from both NT and HF but most of the time it was what I consider throw away tools. These were the ones I would cut or weld on to make a special tool for doing a specific job. I've both good and bad from both locations. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

I currently have a HF floor jack that I got 5 or 6 years ago and it's still working just fine. It's seen quite a bit of use over the past two and a half years. YMMV
